Woo hoo, Friday.

Alright, weekend 1 of my self-imposed no-spending-on-family quest is about to get started. Lucky for me, I am working tonight at my PT job and also Saturday. Sunday, chances are I will be alone (since my father and my sister are going to CA). I definitely won't be spending any money!

Though speaking of my part time job, we've been told since mid-summer that our busy season shifted. Not sure what happened, but people just started to get married later in the year (we deal a lot with events, most of them weddings). So instead of starting in April, they didn't really get into full swing until June. And we're expected to be busy until late November/early December.

Honestly? I'm just meh with it. I like the time off, but I guess some extra moneys are nice to have too. Would be infinitely nicer if I actually saw the money... but that's a rant for another day.

This week I paid my car registration ($135) with saved money and bought a itty bitty tiny amount of groceries (about $15). I will have to buy more stuff for next week, but I'll try to keep it low key regardless. Then it will be pay day and the cycle restarts all over again. Weeks are starting to run together...

That's it for me this week. I have a few post I'd like to share, if I can stop deleting them. Personal/goal stuff I get long-winded at and end giving up on. All's good on this end! Studying is frustrating me, but I am slowly identifying where to focus on. Only 80 or so days before the test... woo hoo indeed.

  1. Ahhh, house to yourself! And although working, it should be peaceful. I am looking towards no spending this weekend, too. Wish us luck!

    Peace <3

  4. After you pay off your debt, you will have quite a bit to play with. Will you continue your second job?

    1. Probably. My second job was never meant to affect my debt-paying journey. I enjoy it too much for some unknown reason, even if it's hard on me and I miss my weekends!
