Bye bye, car loan!

I just made my last payment on the loan, to the ring of $2,632.03. $2000 came from that repayment I have been working on since April this year (which came as a bonus last March!), $410 will come from what would've been a regular payment and the remaining $220 come from my PT checks for last week ($90) and this week ($130). I was barely making it, and I wish my brother could've contributed to his car, but right now, I don't care! I'm just happy and excited.

Since it's after hours, this withdrawal wont hit my bank until tomorrow (or Sat, or Mon). I get paid tomorrow. I just did it early because I couldn't help myself. I HAD to do this!

I'm working tomorrow at my PT job right after my FT job, so there wouldn't have been much time to celebrate... so I'm doing it today! I'll also be working Saturday... I am really thankful for the extra money, especially since it goes away once Nov starts and the hotel gets less busy.

Have a wonderful weekend!

(I know I should be working on my EF, but that's coming! Trust me, I just NEEDED to see this first due gone!)

Update, with photos!

    1. That monthly payments has plans until Dec (I really dont want to ever pay more interest than I have to!), but it will definitely become the main building block for my savings!

    1. Oh, it's not my car, it's my dad's/brother's. And I hate that car! Which makes it all the sweeter that it's gone.

    1. I love purple as well, and I shall try. I have no plans for it, but most of the extras come as unplanned bailouts!

  10. Congrats. One more thing to cross off on your list of financial goals this year. Don't worry too much about an EF, you'll have plenty of time to build one up. Actually, I would even think about paying down some of your other debts first, depending on their interest rates.
